Skagit Family Study Center has existed since Chuck moved into Frances’ rental house across the street from the Chuck Wagon hamburger place on Riverside in Mount Vernon in 1990. Chuck got his business license and started seeing clients soon after moving in. Other local therapists also used the space by the hour.

Chuck moved to an office space above Pacioni’s Restaurant on First Street in Mount Vernon in 1993. In 1997 Chuck moved his offices into the house located on the property now occupied by the parking lot at the new train station in downtown Mount Vernon.

In the mid 90′s Chuck met the beautiful Connie Bonner at Compass Health where they both worked. In 1998 Chuck & Connie began to court and they married in 1999. They moved their combined practices into the present location at 11th and Broad near the Hospital in Mount Vernon in June that same year.

Connie and I have been doing weekly parenting groups since the Compass Health days and have maintained the Mount Vernon PARENT'S NIGHT group since 1999.

We also have enjoyed invited to lead parenting groups in many communities, cultural centers and schools in Skagit County.

Over the years I have done anger management groups for many Skagit Valley school systems in elementary, junior high and high school settings.

Chuck and Connie strive to share the best tools and insights regarding human development and the healing process that they find along the way with everyone at: www.skagitfamily.org. Skagit Family Study Center was founded to value, develop and share the principles learned by Chuck and Connie, their colleagues, and the families they have been privileged to work with over the years.
